Special Topics in Patient Care Assistant/Aide
This is a WECM Course Number.
Course Description: This Patient Care Technician Review follows the NHA Detailed Certified Patient Care Technician Test Plan and provides a review of material related to Patient Care Technician. The course includes the use of Practice Exams that simulate an actual certification examination experience, as well as the use of CPCT study guides and hands on lab skills practice. Successful completers of this Capstone course will be prepared to challenge the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant exam (CPCT/A). This course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. (1 Lec., 1 Lab.)
