Advanced Web Programming

Prerequisite Recommended: Intermediate Web page generation skills or instructor approval.
Course Description: Web programming using industry-standard language and data stores. This course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. (3 Lec., 4 Lab.)
HyFlex is a course design that combines face-to-face (optional TR 9:30PM-10:50AM, room B266) with on-line learning. The flexible course structure gives the option of attending either sessions in the classroom, participating on-line or doing both. Students have the option to change their mode of attendance weekly or by topic, according to need or preference. Students can access on-line material at home but the IDT lab room B267 will also be open to assist. This course will cover web programming using industry-standard languages and data stores and advanced applications for Web authoring. Topics may include Database interaction, Active Server Pages, JavaScript, HTML, and/or interactive elements.
