Introduction to Archeology
This is a Texas Common Course Number. This is a Dallas College Core Curriculum course.
Prerequisite Required: College level ready in Reading.
Course Description: The study of the human past through material remains. The course includes a discussion of methods and theories relevant to archeological inquiry. Topics may include the adoption of agriculture, response to environmental change, the emergence of complex societies, and ethics in the discipline. (3 Lec.)

Physical Anthropology

Course Description: The study of human origins and bio-cultural adaptations. Topics may include primatology, genetics, human variation, forensics, health, and ethics in the discipline. This lecture and laboratory course combines all the elements of ANTH 2301 and ANTH 2101, which includes demonstrations of major principles and learning outcomes listed for both courses. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
